UPDATED APRIL 2019: We are wanting a Christmas 2019 or early January 2020 swap (at the same time please). Semi-flexible on dates at this stage. Main preference is for Kaiteriteri or Little Kaiteriteri Beach or Marlborough Sounds or possibly Pohara, Tata Beach, Golden Bay area, Kaikoura, possibly Picton if near “The Links” cycleway/water. Would need to be someone kind who wouldn’t mind feeding our two gorgeous cats who we love dearly (Shila and Lucy) and we are more than happy to feed yours or water your garden. Drop us an email and lets see if we can make this work!
OUR PROPERTY:
Sunny, 7 year old clean, modern, double glazed home next to beautiful Isel Park in Stoke with swimming pool. Great location halfway between Richmond and Nelson City and not far from Tahunanui Beach. There are 4 bedrooms (master and ensuite with super king bed) 1 x queen, and two smaller bedrooms; one with a bunk set and the other with a double bed. There are two living areas – one parent one, one kids one, with the newly renovated kitchen/dining area in between as a buffer 🙂 Doors open up fully onto deck and view of pool – our pool is soooo nice in summer. Unlimited wifi.
If at all possible, we also have two cats that we ADORE and are most definitely part of our family – they would need to be fed, patted, fed, admired, fed and spoilt please 🙂 If that’s not OK then we would appreciate they stay there and we will hire a pet sitter to feed them and check in on them, thanks.
If you want a safe location halfway between Nelson/Richmond that is one minute from the cycleway that will take you into town or Richmond or to the Great Taste Trail, is close to two supermarkets, shops, cafes, amazing historic park, this is it. We also have a swimming pool which is great fun in summer. Please note, may not be suitable for children under 2 as our back gate (see backyard photo) opens to the park stream (see photo of my son with two of his mates in the stream building a dam – note though, it isnt deep but they may be the odd ‘pocket’ of water) – great fun. Isel Park is Nelson’s loveliest park and has a cafe, frisbee golf, Thursday night markets, plenty of space for kids to run around and tire themselves out away from screens. Tahunanui Beach is 5 mins away and gets a bit over crowded during Christmas, Nelson city/waterfront is 7 mins drive away.
There is so much to do in Nelson, it is a family paradise. There are numerous walks nearby or go for an overnight tramp up Mt Arthur. We love living here. We’re only interested in South Island swaps please at this time as we have moved here from the North Island, thank you!
